Lake Bogoria is also a great birding paradise the lesser flamingos flock in the shallow waters to feed on the algae,mixed in are greater flamingos as well and pelicans can be found .Lake Bogoria is a saline alkaline lake. You can also get lucky and spot the beautiful malachite king fisher. The lake is also famous for geysers and hot springs that are found along the banks and in the lake.
